Thijs Wilms and Wil Raymakers were high school teachers of mine, and I always believed they created this, but now I discover that this is at least half Japanese. Please enlighten me!

Boes/Ox Tales was the brainchild of Wilms and Raymaker but the cartoon was a co-production of the Netherlands and Japan.
