What the *beep* is up with the brain fluid thing? I consider myself an intelligent man but this has me stumped. I honestly think they filmed this without a script and when it came time to connect people with androids they just went "Uuuh...brain fluid." Granted I did spend a good portion of my time making fun of the film so I may have missed it. Any explaination would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe they meant cerebrospinal fluid... but that still makes no sense...
Probably cerebrospinal fluid. Its the same liquid that circulates around the brain, but they would have had a much easier time harvesting it from the spinal column instead of prodding a needle into the brain.
