Honestly...

So far I've seen (or tried my best to make it through) about 10 of these AFTER DARK movies and not one of them - NOT ONE - has been worth a dang.
I've seen DARK RIDE, GRAVEDANCERS, THE ABANDONED, WICKED LITTLE THINGS, and several others...all drastically full of suck.
Perhaps there's one I've missed?
At this point, I'm afraid to proceed further.

If this represents the modern state of horror (and from what I've seen outside this series, it most certainly does), the horror fans of the world are in deep doo-doo.

I also have a copy of CAPTIVITY at the ready, but I haven't heard good things, so my expectations there are bottom of the barrel.

Sigh.
