Yeah, every movie like this requires the little girl to be a retard and run off and play with potentially deadly zombies and come to no harm, while everyone else is slaughtered

I don't really think Emma almost got them all killed. She did what little girls do-they play with other little girls. If anything, Emma saved their lives.
I do, however, wish she had died. I wish her mother and sister died as well. I wish she had died for one simple reason: Her character seemed way to...already dead for my tastes. I was half expecting someone to say she was Mary's reincarnation for heaven's sake.
And her mother was just irrisponsible. She left Emma alone WAY too much. i.e. "let's let my adorible youngest daughter run around in a dark, big house, alone, when the front door was unlocked and anyone could be hiding in here."
As for the sister...well, why not? 3 other people died for random reasons, why not one more?

I was disappointed she was alive.
It seemed like she wasnt gonna make it. And I thought, "damn. intense."
But, I guess horror writers dont think anyones ready to be shocked that much.
All 3 of them should have got killed within the first 10 minutes of the movie. Would have been a much better movie that way.
