NEVER Rent movies from 'The director of Boogyman'

Don't fall for this marketing ploy. This is some NO-BUDGET crap director that films his movies with a cheap Mini-DV camera and names most of his titles similar to a movie that's already out. Examples: "The Zodiac Killer" - released same time as Zodiac previes, BTK Killer, "Black Dahlia" (movie)- availble at movie rentals release the exact same time as "Black Dahlia" in theaters. Even the movie "Boogyman" is not the one from just a few years ago, it's another one of his pieces of crap he made over 20 years ago.

THIS IS FALSE MARKETING AND THIS DIRECTOR AND THE PRODUCERS/PRODUCTION COMPANY SHOULD BE SUED!!!

I fell for it once, my fiance fell for it again. The covers on the DVD look great, that's the only thing that's quality, but as the saying goes, don't judge a book by it's cover!!!!!!!

Ulli Lommel is a SCAM ARTIST!!! And I can't believe his movies are being distributed at Blockbuster, Wallmart, Family Video etc.

While I agree that Ulli Lommel flicks are junk, the claim of being "from the director of The Boogeyman" is far from false advertising. The Boogeyman was a legit early '80s movie that has a solid following -- enough to spawn a sequel. He's been riding the coattails of its success ever since. Of course, the question remains, why the hell would you want to see anything from the director of the 2005 Boogeyman???

this guy is a mother******* piece of you know..... i rentedzombie nation because the freaking cover looked great and the movie was completely worthless since the picture in the cover and in the back never appeared in the movie. thezombie looked really good in the cover but in the movie it was some stuppid girls with eyeliner.

Not *beep* They still plaster it over every box. He made it like 30 years ago. I'm really getting sick of these bargin basement horrors. I dont mind low budget, I dont even mind shot on video, but lets makes some sense or have just a bit of effort!

Yeah that remake sucked. Oh you me the original? Please, I'm tired of hearing all of you people cry about Ulli Lommel. Why don't you find a hobby or pick on people who really suck like David De Coteau who uses 20 different alias to crank out terrible and unwatchable movies.

Oh man, Creepozoids is more watchable than any of Lommel's movies. Winner: David DeCoteau
