Agreed. Starts off cheap looking and overdubbed (bad on purpose?), but it eventually takes off. Good kills, faithful recreation of 70s look, funny tongue in cheek comedy, and an interesting premise if you're a horror movie fan.
Definitely worth a watch...

I didn't notice the 1970's look to any of the nightmares, but the kid did mention he ran a horror movie review website.
I like the streaming online website poster's imdb profile that talks about all the 12 year olds taking over imdb and saying every movie is bleep bleep and endless bleep.
And for the 1,000th time. This is not a remake. It's streaming on Netflix, but they haven't got the dvd in yet.
And it's not bad for a low budget Horror movie. If people think it's so easy to make movies, they need to go make a movie, or else STFU.
