I think this movie is being filmed outside my window right now...

I work and study at Brooklyn College and the campus has been buzzing for a while over news that Sarah Jessica Parker would be filming a movie on campus this week. Looking out the window of my office, I can see the quad is full of cranes, lights and cameras. My officemates and I spotted Sarah Jessica Parker walking into the library this morning. I can only assume, "Spinning Into Butter" is what they're shooting since the story revolves around a college.

This is the only time they're supposed to be shooting here so the movie obviously won't be set on this campus. I can't wait until I get off work in 15 min to go check it out!

The main setting for the movie was on Governor's Island... however they ARE doing occassional day shoots at Brooklyn College and NYU - I believe they're shooting at BC today, tomorrow, and friday only though... get your peeps in while you can! :)

They have been here all week. The first few days they were shooting mainly campus shots. But it's kinda cool. They are in front of the Library now and they have fake banners on it saying "Belmont College - Celebrating 175 years". I had class this morning, but some of my friends were telling me that SJP was already there to do some shooting. So I didn't get to see her. From the sounds/look of it, they'll be shooting for the rest of this week at the latest. They've pretty much taken over the campus...hehe

AND dammit, I hope they leave those Adirondack chairs...it's the least they could do for using the campus and they look so nice on the quad.

Hi! I'm a student at Brooklyn College too (I had no idea there would be others here on this site ). I saw them filming last night around 6ish. I had to walk around the quad to get to my class at Boylan, since they were filming right by the steps to the bookstore. I didn't really get to see much of the action, because I was trying not to trip over their equipment. But I did get to see how oblivious some of the students were...they kept walking towards the site, even though other students 5 ft ahead of them were being turned away. (I, myself was one of them .)

Anyhoos, just wanted to say "hi" to my fellow BC dwellers.

I saw them filming and i saw sarah jessica parker, she's so nice and such a sweetheart. She took a picture with me and she signed my notebook and she gave me a hug. She's one of the nicest people...i swear.

they also filmed at Drew University in NJ. they filmed a scene with a police officer putting a black kid in a police car, then parents supposedly moving their kids into dorms and then sarah jessica parker was on campus filming a scene. not sure which one it is though

Hey do you know when they're filming at NYU cause i live like 15 minutes away from there. Also did anybody see Miranda Richardson because i think shes the best!!!!!
