How is this even a sequel?

The subject line best descibes what this post is about, how is this even a sequel to Like Mike? They are playing street ball, and usually in sequels, they get almost the cast from the first movie back to reprise thier role, but this time there are different actors playing different characters, so how can this even count as a sequel to Like Mike? This movie should really be called something else, and not Like Mike 2 in the beginning of the title.
