My new friend Maura Tierny

The cast and crew used the hair salon i work in on Staten Island for hair and makeup touchups. I had the honor of having several interesting convos with some of the cast members, the producer, the director and the crew. while sharing a ciggarette break, Maura Tierny told me how it was working with Jim Carrey (Liar Liar), being raised in boston and going to school to lose her "accent", and working on the ER set. (I even made a dorky comment on how i love the name Abby because of her character) She was so funny and sweet and we all really enjoyed her company.
I also got to take a few pics with Paul Rudd. I didn't get to talk to him as much but i did get the chance to tell him how funny Anchorman was. (Appropriately his response was "Right on!")
Lauren Ambrosey (the red head from Six Feet Under) was alittle snotty when i asked her if she has ever dyed her hair. Probably because she hears that all the time.
Sarah Paulson belted out Cher's If i can turn back time while she was getting her hair done. She really likes Cher. The infant that plays her baby boy in the movie is actually an adorable little girl.
From what i got, the movie is about a group of 4 clamdiggers on Long Island circa 1975. Paul Rudd and Maura tierny are brother and sister. it taked place in the winter and its got a very funny script. It is, however, an indie film so theres a chance it never makes it to the silver screen. (the director even made a comment about how she hopes shes as lucky as the nepolian dinomite guys)
All and all this was a really cool experience. and im so anxious so see if this movie makes it!
