If you're in the UK or have a multiregion DVD player, it's available to buy.
See my other post for the link (and it's a genuine release; not pirate!)

touchy feely stuff...is that what they teach you in med school these days?

I watched it last night too. It was a wonderful version. I had read the book ages ago, and I have never seen a film version, but it made me fall in love with the tale again.

Like the reviews say, it was shockingly made, but was just incredibly cute and sweet - brought a tear to my eye :)

They're probably talking about the FX being "weird" or "not done well".

I thought it was amazing. The way they did the FX makes it look like a combination of stop-motion and live-action, which is very cool (I have a thing for stop-motion movies). I didn't see it from the beginning, but I'll be looking for this version on DVD for sure!

reply

i doubt that'll appear anytime soon. i still thought it was pretty good. very abstract
