I'll be getting the US-edit (83 minutes) on the Criterion re-issue of The Seventh Seal (which I've pre-ordered). What I'm wondering though is if anyone knows how to get ahold of the full version on DVD? I believe there is a Swedish DVD with English subtitles, but trying to find it on European DVD sites is proving an uphill battle.

You just specify that you live in the US.
Criterion has also recently issued it as a solo DVD, but it's the 83-minute version - however, it's one of the lower-priced Criterions ($19.98 SRP), and Barnes & Noble has a 50% sale coming up on Criterions later this month (7/14 - 8/03), so I've got my eye on it.

I enjoyed it very much, but wouldn't mind the full-length version at all - this left me wanting more! It becomes apparent that it was edited from a longer work because of differences in his physical appearance (hair and beard are longer/shorter). Highly recommended.
