I watched this film today and although I thought it was pretty good I had a hard time understanding some of the characters. I got more than the gist of what was going on but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had of been able to catch more of what they were saying. Did anyone else have a similar problem?

Yeah its a fantastic movie.. i think if your Irish and are used to hearing this accent then you can understand no problem. Amazing movie though.

I think I only caught 20-25 percent of the dialogue. It was ridiculous how much I could not hear. Some of the most confusing scenes were the opening scenes where they were in the caravans with the traffic noise (which was louder than the people speaking. I honestly did not understand anything but gathered they were discussing money. Then, there was the scene where Winnie and her mother were looking at a new caravan. I heard "2 bedrooms and shower" and that's it! Seriously, I did not hear another word from that scene.
But that is your need not the film's.
