What was the 'unfinished business'

When Ted took Jamie out of the house driving around, the day after Jamie was fired.. they drove back to the office and Jamie ran inside saying something like 'I have a little unfinished business with John'.
then he came back to the car and they drove off..
did i miss something - they never disclosed or talked about what Jamie actually DID when he went back into the office ?

I watched all of the deleted scenes, etc, and without any further reference to that scene anywhere, the only thing I could surmise is that the writer wanted you to think that Jamie was absolutely going psycho and doing something really twisted while Ted was looking through all of the twisted pictures in this art book while waiting for him. This just added to the buildup of Jamie falling apart...and at the end, when all was unveiled as just a clever plot to undue ("culling") the leaders of the company, that it was just another Jamie tool to make himself seem to be a falling apart crazed wreck instead of the devious and brilliant mastermind behind the fall.

well said joe5472. Succinct estimation of the plot.

Though I think the implication 'Jaime' was trying to get across to Ted was that he took a dump in the boss's office. Of course he wouldn't have actually had to cuz he didn't really get fired.
