Is this worth seeing?

I heard it's pretty bad, is that true? I wonder how an Oliver Stone movie, with Nicolas Cage, about an important event in history, could turn out bad?

It wasn't bad. I thought it was very good. Acting was great for the most part. At least the leads were phenomenal. I've read some negative reviews from users that I don't agree with at all. But that's just my opinion.

No, it isn't a bad film, but United 93 is far superior because of the way it was made. This film is okay, but I did feel that some of the stuff felt like writer's lines, like when they go down to the WTC and are talking about whether or not a plane hit the second tower as well. I felt that the way they were talking sounded like movie dialogue and not real dialogue.

I think it is. Just bear in mind, it's about the 2 Port Authority police officers being rescued. Not anyone else. The person Stephen Dorff plays is actually the mayor of my town. My dad is in the Fire Dept with him, so I know him. He said Oliver Stone got annoyed with him a lot bc he was there to help with keeping it as factual as possible. He kept telling him, "That's not how it went." He had the option to play himself, but he didn't want to.

Yes. It is worth seeing. Michael Pena is the best thing about it for me. An extremely close second is Maggie Gyllenhaal as his onscreen wife. Even Nicolas Cage is good here. And Maria Bello is as always outstanding. Also Jay Hernandez is excellent.

it's terrible, stone is a jew.

Ehh, i guess so. The tone is off. It's not a focused film. It's not tight. It drags.

Watch "United 93" instead.
