Best part? The ending scenes and no women characters

the ending scenes at Daniel's home were great. it was so cool to see Eli show up. i'd kind of forgotten about him. Daniel chasing then bashing Eli's head in was pretty humorous and awesome. i wish Paul had shown up to though. i liked him

also, i liked how there were really no women characters. it would have just added unnecessary romance and perhaps sex to the movie

This seems rather apt, coming from a guy with a Trump/Pence avatar.

Oh, please. Everyone needs to jump the political bandwagon anymore. It's gotten old.

But the OP makes a valid point, too many films bog themselves down with "side romances" that do little for the film other than jack up the pacing. I have nothing against females being in the film but Hollywood throwing a romance into every film regardless of plot is offsetting.

Oh, please yourself. It's clear this guy has an axe to grind against "wimmin" since apparently a movie can't handle a female character without forcing romance into the narrative.

Re-read his post. He's ridiculous.

Sorry but it looks like you have the axe to grind by both projecting the intent of the poster and using quotes while misspelling the word women, it's no quote at all.

If you're going to be toxic about it you can just move along.

Or you can just butt out?

The guy has a Trump/Pence avatar and clearly has a problem with women. That makes this a political conversation by default.

You're kind of doing a lot of assuming that that's all women characters can be. I agree that this movie had no need for a romantic plotline, but it wouldn't have made it worse to have a larger female role. As long as it didn't seem forced in.

Take No Country For Old Men as an example, since I see these movies to be very similar for some reason. The main female character in that held a significant role by the end of the movie and never once did she add a romantic theme. And that goes for plenty of films.
