I wonder what the plot is? good looking cast so far, I guess.

The plot is this: 16 year old soccer prodigy wants to play for the pros, but has to balance teenage life and love in the meantime. She has to decide whether she wants to be the youngest pro ever or be a normal teenager, does she chose the right thing? Watch to find out!

Filming in Marin County and the East bay. Amazing cast and crew, absolutly AMAZING.

I worked on this movie!(as an extra) It was sooo much fun! Daryl was there for the dance scene. he plays the guatiar. he started danceing with us. lalaine is not that friendly! any chance she gets shes on her phone. if you try to talk to her she acts like she didnt hear you. one of the extras asked her how old she was when she started lizzie. she looked at the girl for a while. then blankly she said "14". whatever. Leah is sooo sweet. she interacts with the fans. When she talks to you she talks to you like shes known you 4ever. u feel the same way. Shes gonna b real famous someday I hope and I hope she treats the fans the same way as she does know!

How would you know what they are getting paid? Did they discuss their salaries with you? The producers could have hired other people if they didn't want to pay the money.

It's technically an independent movie and being made on a 1 million dollar budget overall so it's not as if their salaries could have been ridiculously high in the first place.

No, movie girl is right they are being overpaid. Trust me

reply

That may be true. However I maintain then that is the fault of the producers for hiring them in the first place and agreeing to pay them more money than was necessary. They could have probably easily found girls to play the roles for less money.

reply

yeah. but they needed a couple good names. hopefully it turns out to be a good movie.

did you work on the movie?

Hi Everybody - Thanks for being extras in the film. Yes, we were on a very tight budget, so every hour of your presence helped enormously. FYI, every actor on this picture was paid on the same scale rate for SAG Low Budget Agreement pictures. If you look up SAG scale rates on the SAG website, you can see that it amounts to about $400 per day. As you may imagine, those aren't exactly astronomical wages in the entertainment world these days. Lalaine, Joanna, Leah and all the cast were putting in a lot of hours for pretty low pay, but they all supported the project.

Thanks again for your help - all the scenes with extras (high school, dance, soccer games, etc.) are brought to life with the presence of extras - we couldn't do it without you. The only thing I felt bad about was not having as much watermelon for the extras on the super-hot days in San Rafael - I think it hit 105 degrees one day! Anyway - see you on the next set!! Norm

Working on this film was the best thing I did all summer. I couldn't beleave how nice every one was. I can't wate till it comes out.

reply

Well, that pretty much takes care of they were paid too much theory, especially since they were paid the same as everybody else. Probably was just a rumor on set.

i heard when i worked on the movie that they cant afford to pay the director!
