that beautiful 61' dodge polara is the real star.....

....of this flick. my buddy nick had a beautiful same color blue w/t a white top 61' polara from the late 90's until the mid 2000's until one day he was on tour with his band down in texas where he lived and the city of dallas had it toed from the front of his house...by the time he got back off tour it had been already sold at a city auction...friggin' bastards.
but recently threw a friend he got another exact year and color dodge polara off of e-bay for a really good price....thats really cool.

At first I thought it was a Dodge Dart with a Push Button TorqueFlite automatic. I had one but that car was much smaller than the one in the movie. I guess it was a Polara. My Dodge caught fire when the floor mounted high beam switch shorted out and set the carpeting on fire. I also had a 1951 Pontiac Chieftan with a straight eight. Those were good ole days.
