Any word on this film? Why is it in 3-D? Is it even?

Plot wise, I'm not sure. All I've heard it being described as is a Hitchcock-like thriller. As to why 3D, Thomas Jane just seems to love it (the third issue of his Bad Planet comic has 3D sections that are very well done).

It will be in 3D, but its being filmed in a way that if a theater isn't really equipped to do a 3D movie, it should still work well in 2D.

It won't be anaglyphic 3D, but RealD and prob. Dolby3D in theatres.

Saw it in 3d. It was quite good.
