Similar movies?

I've heard people make reference to Lost Highway, so i'll put that on my to-see list, but can anyone else recommend similar movies as this? Maybe something with a similar twist (although I understand by naming any such movie, you'll invariably be spoiling it for me. Such is life...)? Dead End with Ray Wise is somewhat similar to this, at least as far as "driving at night, with no end in sight, and weird *beep* is happening." Any other suggestions?

As far similar plots with *beep* crazy stuff happening:

"Shallow Grave"
"Black Wine"
"Very Bad Things"
"Vacancy"

There are probably tons more but those are the ones I can think of.

THE CIRCLE with Angela Bettis does this type of story with common sense and style.

zyzzyx road starts out exactly like this! :) Not a bad movie either, however it is the lowest grossing film in theaters in history lol, with like $30. but since then its been quite a hit ;)

A "low" budget Australian film called The Locals, has a similar vein of a supernatural explanation. I won't give away the plot in case anyone wants to see it?? But it does deal with past & present, but it does resolve itself more clearly than Dark Country.
