American government is good at assinating people w/ dreams?

I'm sure this has been discussed already but I just watched that scene, and found that very provocative for a Walt Disney film... I imagine they were hinting at John F. Kennedy/Martin Luther King Jr.

Possible, I suppose, but a little far-fetched. They threatened Farmer in an effort to stop him, but they didn't "assinate" anyone. In fact, Farmer just about "assinated" his family with that rocket.
