CANADIANS! Please help!

I have been watching DaVinci Inquest/City Hall religiously on Sleuth Channel. According to IMDB, there were only 13 episodes of City Hall. You mean there never was an ending? We never see Jacobs get the boot, Brian go to jail, etc.?? We never find out how it ended??

Alas no. You can thank the CBC for this wise decision. Basically the CBC doesn't know what it wants to be, and so when it has an intelligent, well reviewed and viewed show on their hands, what do they do? They cancel it. our taxpayers dollars at work.

Just by chance saw "The Quality of Life" episode. I think because the events portrayed were based on memories of a real-life politician, then chances are that the stories might have been too true to life. Nevertheless, they served as exquisite fodder for a surprisingly great drama series.

Apart from Stargate Universe, I wasn't aware that Canadians actually made this good television of late.

As a lifelong Vancouverite sadly aware of this country's eastern power bias, I have to think that, given the high ratings, standards and awards given this series, if it had been based in Toronto or Montreal, it would be on to this day.
