What are the differencies to 'Jaws - The inside Story'?

For starters I´m a little confused:
On wikipedia it says TSISW is 100 minutes but in a review I read it´s more than 3 hours. What is true now?
And if it´s only 100 minutes what could possibly the differene to "Jaws - the inside Story"? I mean how much new information could they put in there.

I hope someone who saw TSISW can tell me a little bit.

Thank you!

The Inside Story did indeed borrow a little bit of footage from TSISW. But other than that, they are two completely different documentaries.

TSISW is narrated by Roy Scheider and features many interviews from individuals not featured in the Inside Story. It has been exhibited at different cuts over its lifetime, which is why there are varying running times. Lastly, there is a bit more behind the scenes footage, such as Super 8 film of the Kitner boy scene, and on-set interviews with Robert Shaw and Scheider. There is some interesting footage of Spielberg watching the Oscar nomination announcements with friend, Joe Spinell (who would've thought those two were friends?!).

The Inside Story was quite excellent too, but borrowed heavily from TSISW in terms of coverage, imo. For this reason, maybe the build up to TSISW will not quite deliver for some, but I found it to be a superb doc.

The 3 hour version was basically a loose edit or work-print with sections on short films or fan films that needed to go. The 100 min version is a tighter cut, focusing more on Jaws with more focused and polished treatment.

In the end credits, there's a list of "unused interviewees" including, for example, Richard Kiel (who played "Jaws" in 2 James Bond films)
