My close friend auditioned for esther in melbourne through her agency and i was just wondering when you guys found out who got the part of esther could you please tell me. im just wondering incase my friend didnt get the part, i just want 2 know who did.
It's not that they havent found anyone yet, they just want to have a look at everyone I think they want to go to some jewish schools cos there werent many people fluent in hebrew or something
I auditioned for this movie in Sydney about 3 weeks ago and about 300 people turned up for just that one day. I hope that make the right casting choice!
I auditioned today in Perth. I think I stuffed it up kinda though but then again I got the impression there wasnt much i could do. I think they really are just looking for a face and a personality that they can work with to SHAPE the perfect Estha. Keisha Castle-sumthing (the BRILLIANT actress from the movie Whale Rider) is playing Sunni, and when researching I read her biography, she's never done any acting in her life b4 whale rider and she was picked for HER and then trained into the chracter. I think this is much the same thing. GOODLUCK to everybody who auditioned!!! (including me hehehe)
OMG i auditioned in Perth aswell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont think i will get it cause of my skin colouring and blonde hair and blue eyes cause Esther is Jewish................. Good Luck to every one!!!!! I would say good luck 2 me but u no i wont get it.....
you might get it :) think positive!! They might dye your hair black or dark brown, loll. Anything's possible. I havent auditioned yet, mine's on saturday...eeeeekk!!! hehe, i didnt realise it was this international either, but now i do...which puts a bit more pressure on hehe... <3 Shel
They're auditioning at my school today :) I'm going for it!
They said to us that they might be filming at our school (maybe), and if they do then we might be extras anyway. Woot!
... I bet i've completely jinxed myself now lol
EDIT: okay well i did the audition not long ago now and it was SO much fun. We had a group of about 10-15 from our school (that wasnt all the people who auditioned though!), most of which were in my year level.
A few of us were chosen at times to stand up, were given a situation, and then were told to improvise it. It was lots of fun and they were really nice :)
Really?? Awesome :) :) what school do you go to? I was just wondering...areyou from SA?? LOLL, i like questions...hehe. Neways, i hope you did well :) <3 Shel Ciao
