screening with director tonight in Liverpool
My wife and I are seeign this tonight, there's a special screening with the director around for questions and answer session.
looking forward to it.
Thought it was excellent.
It was aimed at the Halloween fanbase - so went into films from the whole series - (theres a few documentaries about the classic original) full of anecdotes and interviews with some key players.
And some NOT-so-key players who stuck their oars in during the editing process.
Highly recommended and the director seems a rather decent chap! (and he's also doing the comics series.)
Interestingly, Rob Zombie gets interviewed on this doc, BEFORE his attachment to the "remake" he's working on.
One thing though - I thought I was a Halloween fan, but after looking at the rabid fanboys tapes on view here, I'm going to have to reassess my level of fandom, as it appears I'm actually not a fan of ANYTHING very much....
