I bought this thinking it was Halloween 1...

I had been driving around around all day to different circuit city locations (since they are going out of business and all dvds are 50% off right now!) and i saw this dvd, saw "halloween" in big letters, noticed all the extra features including "feature presentation" and bought it for like 7 bucks. i realized what this actually is before even putting it in my dvd player cause i started to read everything else on the front and back cover, realizing its actually a documentary. i loooove halloween 1 2 and 4, but im not a halloween enthusiast so i didnt know anything about this documentary until today. so yeah i was a little upset at first but i guess its better to get this under the circumstances i did right? watching it right now and its pretty interesting, but i want part 1!

I hear ya! I bought this today thinking it also had Halloween 1 in the DVD I owned the VHS copy that recently broke and was disappointed to find that H1 was not in it..although I do love the documentary!

I did the same exact thing too!! This was just when it was released and i didn't know anything about the franchise yet!LOL!

But am glad I got though. A well made documentary if you love this series.

I also bought this, thinking it included the original movie. I thought that the documentary was on the second disc. I was like "Wow, this is a hell of a lot of bonus content to get inaddition to the first movie and it's only $7!" It's a pretty good documentary, though, so I'm glad I have it.
