Delightful

I saw this tonight, in a screening of short animated films, and I have to say I was just delighted with it.

What starts out as an amatuerish, boring old silly cartoon quickly changes into a masterpiece, subtle in design.

A little old lady lives alone in a two-story house. In a spare, unused room, is a ceiling fan. Trying to liven up the room, the lady brings in a potted plant.

The bored ceiling fan falls in love with the plant. Eventually, the plant feels the same way. Unfortunately, with the plant so far down, and the fan up on the ceiling, they would never be able to touch each other.

As the old lady succumbs to the ravages of age, senility sets in and she forgets about the plant, leaving it to fate.

In a final act of love, the ceiling fan gives its life for the flower's.

I'm glad I saw it. I thought it was very well done, inspired to say the least.
