First of all, American Idol has a 5.0 rating. That's not good but it isn't terrible either.
Second, we all know why American Idol has the rating it has. It's because people don't like the way it generates fake pop stars, the "reality TV" aspect, etc. Still, it's an entertaining show.
Mind of Mencia has a low rating because most people either don't watch the show or don't like it. That is why Comedy Central are idiots. They keep renewing something that people actively avoid.
