I'd say a Calf for Daan Schuurmans, who stole the film.
Perhaps Carice, though we've seen her better. I'd give it to Anneke Blok.

No... I don't think Daan gets one. He was good but didn't steal the film in my oppinion... That was Anneke...
And this movie is too dutch to ever be apperciated by America...

Schuurmans first has to learn how to act and his terrible accent doesn't do it for me either.
It will take a long time before Schuurmans will get a Kalf.
I think even Jroen Spitzenberger has a better chance of nomination than Daan. But my money is on Michiel Romeyn and Anneke Blok.
This certainly will not become the Dutch entry for the oscars because for the foreign language category they will never pick a standard formula blockbuster comedy, but they choose the more arty or war films. Seems like those films have a better chance.

How about 'Zus & Zo' then? Even got nominated.
Anyway, Daan has not always been good in the past, but in this movie he is. Spitzenberger is okay, but nothing special (in this movie).
Daan Schuurmans didn't play in Zus en Zo, that was Jacob Derwig

Daan is growing up and he's taking on better roles. (first Costa, Volle Maan those were pathetic) Maybe if he does enough of more mature roles he'll get more recognition...
But Carice, Anneke and Kim will get their nominations...
