I'm sorry to say, but this says enough about the Dutch cinema!

Ever thought there just can't be any more films...?

The Rembrandt awards are audience awards and most people have seen Alles is Liefde so they have chosen to nominate that film

I haven't voted for Alles is Liefde, but what does one vote mean for films like Wolfsbergen, Duska, Blind or Tussenstand. They are all great films, but nobody went to see them so they didn't receive any nominations

I haven't seen them but I'm not gonna drive an hour for the nearest cinema that's showing them...
It's sad but that's the way it is. Those films won't be seen in most cinema's and most people will never see them.

Great for them, although I hoped for Michiel Romeyn and Anneke Blok

In the future I hope the Dutch audience will also embrace the smaller films like Bloedbroeders and Tiramisu both from 2008.

I know they only play in a couple of theatres, but I have seen them and they are really worth your time.

I know I have more chances to see them, living in Amsterdam, but after a while they come out on DVD and they deserve a second chance
