It is a crap mediocre film it only get praised and box office success due to joker (which was even not comic accurate ) otherwise it would be an average film .Nolan destroyed dc by this non comic accurate batman.
For those reading this....the moron OP has gone on record saying he likes the Schumacher Batman films more than the Nolan or Burton ones....so you know......asshat.
The plot borrows heavily from Long Halloween. In that respect, this is the most comic-accurate Batman film for having a story directly adapted from the original source.
I'm just agreeing with you in that it's not only accurate to the Long Halloween (disproving the OPs claim that it is not comics accurate) but also a good film (disproving his claim that it is over-rated).
TJLamb, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this board is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
It's all good. I'm always relaxed after watching the OP flail about in frustrated DC defense....his gut hanging over his cheeto stained Teen titans Go! underoos.
Who cares if it wasn't comic accurate, Nolan's entire trilogy was not comic accurate. It was, however, the most realistic portrayal of the Batman universe so far, and was done in such a way that made it believable and convincing.
I don't know a single person that buys comics, yet I know hundreds of people that love comic book movies, and don't care if they are comic book accurate or not. As long as the story is good, as long as the soundtrack is good, as long as the characters are good, then it is all good.
Well put volley, utterly bizarre to criticise a film and disliking it because it's not comic book accurate, Nolan himself said he wanted to create a real life world Batman instead of the campy crap that came before.
It's embarrassing to watch this movie and think of how praised it was, both by "professional" critics and the obsessive comic book fans. I hate comic book movies with a passion. I find it difficult to put into words how much I hate this movie, particularly the fact that its fans think/thought it's "deep" and "epic".
Heath Ledger took all those drugs cus he knew how dorktastic the whole thing was, he wanted an escape.
