The Fish's assessment of debate 2

What an astounding comeback by Donald Trump. He obliterated Clinton at every turn and her only defense was "fact check". He turned the tables on her by bringing up Bill Clinton's womanizing past, he destroyed her on foreign policy, crucified her on her email scandal, played shadow boxing with her on the tax code and took the high road at the end of the debate when he complimented her on her stamina. She, of course, made a backhanded compliment because she is a dirty pig liar who was sour from losing the debate.

By the way, what Donald Trump said about grabbing women's vaginas is the least offensive thing he's ever said. His stuff on Mexicans is a lot more brutal. Bringing up an innocuous comment about sex that was obviously a joke will only make "progressives" look foolish for even attempting to use it against him.

Trump is the counterculture movement. He's not a politician. He's a narcissist and a sociopath who doesn't know how to run a country, but Obama barely had any experience too. Actually, having a lot of experience in politics hurts in today's society. You're seen as a parrot which is what Hilary has become. She's been a parrot for well over 25 years. Politicians cannot be trusted ever. Trump is a bad liar, which means he is slightly more trustworthy. However, like Hilary said when referencing Abraham Lincoln, it's important for a politician to have a public and private position i.e. be a great liar. And because Trump can't possibly do this I cannot confidently vote for him to be our next president.

I loved the way Trump didn't actually answer any questions and every attack he made on Hillary basically set her up for a segue into her experience in that field (of which he has none). But then again, this is exactly what happened between Bush and Kerry and Bush still won reelection so who knows?

Perhaps my favorite Trump quote of the night was, "Russia is new in terms of nuclear."

Dragging old Bill Clinton accusers into the spotlight to deflect criticism from his Access Hollywood debacle was a new low in modern political history. Had to be Giuliani's idea. What an embarrassment to American politics this entire campaign has been.

2016 has been a revelation in American politics. Finally, we are seeing reality tv takeover the landscape of everything. Before, all we had to go on was a candidate's word which is worth f^cking nothing. With our advancements in technology we can destroy these scumbags before they even get to the primaries. Good. Oh, and just because the previous candidates had good decorum doesn't mean the previous political campaigns were any less of a debacle than what we're seeing right now. Most of Obama's campaign was based on "change". What a crock of sh!t. It's all been a joke and hopefully we start making a serious push for actual change. We need to shake up the entire political process.

Welcome to politics. They're all selling something, but they don't have to go Crazy Eddie to do it. Most of them can at least tell a coherent lie, unlike this angry muppet.

We need to shake up the entire political process.

This kind of scorched earth mentality to getting elected is going to ruin American politics. People are going to check out instead of buying in. Soon the only people voting will be the lunatic extremists from either party.

I'd be with you if I thought this would lead to a viable third (or more) party entering the fray with any chance to succeed, but I don't see that happening. I see trainwreck reality tv, not serious conversation about issues vital to the future of the world, let alone the country.

That's one of the few things I "like" about Trump. He's not a career politician so he's not going to say and act the way a politician "should." I'm sure he'd still fall in line to most of the powers that be, but I can also see him standing up to them and/or doing things outside of the box.

Hillary is bought and paid for by Wall St./big business/foreign interests - and doesn't even try to hide it. Of course, her drooling minions simply hear that she's going to raise taxes on the wealthy (not really) and give "free" stuff to her minions (such as bread-crumbs.)

I was talking to a friend yesterday afternoon and he was going on about what Trump had said. I looked at him and said, "You and I have stood in your garage, drinking a beer, and have said just as vulgar of things as he has. He wasn't a politician at the time he said that, so why are you holding him to a different standard?"

He had no good answer to that.

For anyone with any sized brain, Trump won the first, second, third and any other debates he and Hillary would have when he said, during the first debate, "Hillary has a lot of experience - none of it good."

No truer words have been or ever will be spoken.

For the record, Trump isn't my first, second or third choice for POTUS.

You couldn't name three other politicians. I had to explain to you that solid objects are still made of molecules with space between them. You once said Clint Eastwood has four Oscars for acting while posting a link that showed his wins for directing. Like anyone trying to justify voting for Trump, you're great at reading headlines and not articles. In short, you're an imbecile.

Hillary Clinton isn't my fifth choice for President, but only bitter cranks who are out of touch with reality would seriously consider voting for Trump. Angry enough to be a board regular on a forum for a film you hate. Honestly, you're a classic example of what's wrong with America, and the fact that you put me on ignore because I disagreed with you proves it more than anything else.

You walk in, you spew hate while covering your ears and you walk out convinced that you have all the answers. Hell you might be Trump for all we know.
