Who is the military advisor for this movie?

Who is the military advisor for this movie?
I'll tell you...no one. I can name all the military faux paus that are absolutely ridiculous.

1) Michael Dorn as the Army, three-star, lieutenant-general. On each shoulder are three stars pinned directly to the shirt. Absolutely ridiculous. The uniform is supposed to consist of separate shoulder epaulets, each one showing three stars, attached to each shoulder by a button-down strap.

2) The Navy Seals are being referred to by Army/Marine ranks, like major and captain. Navy ranks would typically be used, like lieutenant-commander and lieutenant, respectively.

3) Look closely at the M16A2s the seals and the ex-army aviator are using and clearly the assault rifles are props. I even noticed the barrels were plugged closed. The tops of the handles were solid instead of hollow. It was like they were using dummy M16A2s, the same type used by the military for training illustration purposes.

4) One of the ill-fated seals totes a LAW (light, anti-tank, rocket launcher). In the movie, it's never fired. Worse, the one time the seal holds the LAW up on his shoulder, you can see the tube is empty. There's not even a dummy rocket inside for show. P.S., the U.S. Army relegated the LAW to obsolescence back at the end of the 1980s. The Army adopted the European-designed AT-4, which was much larger than the LAW and far more effective. The AT-4 (like the LAW) reportedly cannot penetrate the front armor of Russian-designed main battle tanks, but unlike the LAW, still has a reasonable chance of penetrating the side armor and the rear of the tank. Better than nothing. I don't know for certain what became of the Army's remaining large stocks of LAWs. I assume the Army would still use those for bunker-busting, anti-light armored vehicles, and eliminating enemy machine gun positions, until the remaining inventory is emptied to zero.

I don't know what's so hard for these inexpensive sci-fi movie producers to find some ex-military guy who can advise them on proper military uniforms, weapons, procedures, protocol, et al. Just hire Lee Ermey, the retired Marine NCO of "Full Metal Jacket" fame. He's been advising movie producers for years.

You have to manage your expectations. You don't go to McDonalds and criticize the cuisine. You don't watch a SyFy movie and expect quality
