Man under helicopter?

When the helicopter lands during the storm, a man mysteriously appears underneath it. We never see him clearly and although he's supposed to have said something to the passengers, we never hear it. Is this just sloppy editing or does the tv version have bits cut out (not enough I'd say TBH)?

I have just come to ask this. I'm sat watching this garbage (afternoon tv is poor).Just seen or not seen as the case may be the same problem. I've just re-wound the movie three times as I thought I had missed a bit. Crazy......
