Sounds like 'Falling Down' to Me

The plot summary is the basic I'm stuck and hate my life deal, which is violately potrayed in 'Falling Down', Novel - Death of a Salesman, and dozens of other movies out there.

Is this yet another make of the same..again?

reply

Not at all. It's much more about a guy who discovers that his priorities are out of whack and he reshapes his life accordingly.

Even if it is the same basic concept, who's to say it won't be an interesting or unique take on that concept? I'm always hopeful, personally!

reply

"Violately?" Really?

reply

Violately? What is that suppose to mean? DO you mean Volatile? Or Violently? The synopsis clearly states he WAS volatile (look it up) and he is now a changed man. It sounds much like a man rehabilitated from addiction and violence. Sounds interesting to me.

reply

The original poster said "violately."

Three posts about a misspelling. This is a movies site not an English class. Why should perfect grammar be a requirement to offer a comment about a movie? Not all of us are English Teachers with too much time on our hands. Does this mean our opinions and therefore our lives are somehow invalid? I for one, do not intend to live my life according to someone else's measuring stick. I think you petty a__holes know where you can put your stinking stick.

Too many people use credit to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like.

This has almost no similarities with 1993's 'Falling Down.'

reply

No not at all. He certainly doesn't hate his life, and he certainly wasn't stuck.
