Maybe this is a small thing but it somewhat bugged me throughout the movie... (I apologize if someone has already asked this/mentioned this)
Okay so when the host monster killed Park Gangam Style-Doo's dad (The father to the lead in the film), why didn't the monster take him to the underground sewers? He just violently smashed him (or at least suggested) into the ground where he was then mourned by the family...
Maybe I missed a small detail before that but is this is a mistake (I don't want to say plot hole and get flamed) or did I just miss something.

I know it's small but it's just something I spotted. I liked the film despite that and it didn't really effect the plot, it just bugged me after...

Probably because he shot at the monster, enraging it.

The monster shows signs of intelligence in certain parts of the film (like the scene where Hyun-seo tries to climb out of the sewer and it calmly catches her with its tail and gently puts her back down). I think it killed the father either in self-defence or out of revenge for wounding it, then left before the rest of the family (or the soldiers coming down the riverbank) could attack again.
