This movie had some of the worst acting I've ever seen. It seemed like everyone had just memorized lines the night before and put no effort or emotion into whatsoever. The delivery was stiff, flat and rather "hokey". I couldn't finish watching. Not even Boo Boo (who is "cuter'n a bug's ear") could redeem this one. Yick.

Come on, Justin, i know it is your spiritual baby, this film, and you want to play the main role but...next time, please just give it to some professional ones like: Trevor Wright in Shelter? Maybe your film will be much better. Stick with what you know best. Writing, directing...but not acting, please.
shareJust saw this movie for the first time yesterday on logo and I agree. The acting was unbearable. The writing was decent and the direction was good but Justin should have had more sense as a director to cast someone other than himself for that role. At least the other actors were tolerable enough for me to finish watching but Justin really ruined the mood.
Boo Boo was great though! That kid has talent.

Yes, it was bad, but somehow, I didn't care. The quality of the story and the characters more than made up for it. Overall, I found it a very refreshing and enjoyable movie.
