Tipton 3 Are Guilty: Hasan Butt confirms

This documentary is a pack of lies. The film makers should be ashamed of themselves. As it turns out, the Tipton three went to Afghanistan for Jihad.
In the Sixty Minutes report, Hasan Butt, a former Al Qaeda recruiter from UK would send young men to Afghanistan to fight against the Infidels. He promised the recruits that if they fought they then could get out of their arranged marriage. It appears that the Tipton Three went to Pakistan to marry off their friend, saw the bride and needed another plan. Join the Jihad. Which they did. The war did not go in their favor, so they tried to make an escape back to the UK and got caught.

This is the most plausible and likely scenario of what happened. It comes from the mouth of a former recruiter, who sent hundreds of British Pakistanis to fight with the Taleban and then with the insurgents in Iraq.

The UK and US officials only had circumstantial evidence which was not enough to get a conviction. I just hope they have given up practicing Jihad.

Woah, I saw that interview a couple times. When did Hassan Butt ever say anything about the Tipton Three? Or is this just all your speculation?

... was that supposed to be funny?

Guys from Britain often used to go Pakistan. Those in the Far North of Pakistan would even sometimes go to Afghanistan to check out the place.

I mean its like People coming to the UK in England. Some Would like to Visit Scotland and Wales too will they not?

i mean i doubt they would have gone at such short notice, when the odds of a War in Afghanistan were Low anyway would they...

In 2007 two members of the Tipton Three - Ruhal Ahmed and Shafiq Rasul - agreed to participate in the Channel 4 documentary Lie Lab in an attempt to prove their innocence of allegations made by the US Government. The technology used on the show was developed by Professor Sean Spence from the University of Sheffield. It uses Functional magnetic resonance imaging to look at the activity in the pre frontal cortex to determine the truthfulness of statements[14]. Having previously claimed that he had entered Afghanistan for the purposes of carrying out charity work, Ruhal Ahmed admitted on the programme that he had visited an Islamist training camp, where he handled weapons and learned how to use an AK47. Rasul refused to go through with the test.[15]

Right.
Again:

That has nothing to do with the credibility of an MRI. Sorry for the background information, I didn't mean to confuse you. I'm actually citing the fact that this guy changed his story, and then refused the test. The fact that there is no such thing as "lie detection" doesn't mean that people don't believe that there is, and often the threat of it's use will elicit the truth.

You idiot conservative.
