Is Anyone Excited To See This Film?

Although it is being made for TV I think this will be a very good production.

As a young Canadian Filmmaker I dreamed of someday making a Film based on Terry and his life. Unfortunately they are currently doing this right now, but I must say after viewing the trailer that it looks very promising.

I hope that the Director, Actors and Crew have a great time making this film and I wish them luck with it as well. Terry Fox is a great Canadian Hero and I hope this Film does Justice to the cause. I can't wait to see it.

I have no doubt this film will be a sucsess. I live very close to were it is being filmed and can only anticipate its arrival on CBC or where ever. Even a few of my friends got cast as smaller characters for the film. I also Can't wait to see it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie. Growing up in Canada, you hear so much about Terry Fox, and I'm really interested in watching an actual movie about his life. I just really hope it doesn't disappoint.
I think Shawn Ashmore will do a great job though, and it's great to see the role go to a Canadian who has also been recognized internationally. Hopefully that will lure in other viewers, because I really think the story of Terry Fox is one that deserves to be told.

However, I thought all the commericals I've seen for the movie have been on CTV, not CBC.

Terry will air on CTV on Sunday September 11th, just check out their website for the exact time (Probably 8 or 9 EST).

As for this movie I'm really looking forward to seeing it too. Terry Fox was a Canadian hero, and he continues to be to this day. The Terry Fox foundation continues to raise millions of dollars every year for cancer research. The great (or sad) part about it is that EVERYONE has been affected by cancer in one way or another, and Terry worked to raise money for cancer research so that one day, cancer won't affect all of us. My only disappointment with Terry is that he got beat out by Tommy Douglas in "The Greatest Canadian", but to me Terry Fox will always be my Greatest Canadian.

For sure. I think anyone that grows up in Canada knows about Terry and what he did for everyone around the world. It's pretty much common Canadian knowledge. At least I hope. I've known about him for as long as I can remember, I visit the Terry Fox lookout at least a couple times a year here. And I definitely appreciate him... Any Canadian that doesn't know and understand should be ashamed of themselves heh. But it shouldn't just be Canadians that know about Terry, he's helped people around the world, where everyone should know... I also think Shawn did the role amazingly.

Peace,
Sheila
