This movie was so stupid, after 40 minutes I gave up, even if you can watch this movie free don't waste your time..

TBH what did you expect.... its just a bit of fun...it may not have been the greatest martial arts or zombie movie ever made but i PERSONALLY still enjoyed it...

basically anyone who likes watching old jackie chan films with cheesy dubbing should watch the dubbed version...

1st post - here goes !

I had the pleasure of watching this over xmas as a rental from Blockbusters, as i liked the tagline "Sam Raimi's 'Army of Darkness' meets 'The Evil Dead'... Hong Kong Style!" - man i laughed so hard at that idea.

Anyways i was really enjoying the film, with so many continuity errors, and such bad camera work, the dubbing was hilarious and the film made practically no sense.

According to some chap who has posted on amazon it appears this film is half of a long film called "Demon World", and the clips you see when the credits roll are the 2nd part of the film previewed. When it comes out on dvd in the UK, who knows!...

I must admit it was crap, but i have a penchant for films like that ("Godzilla versus Megalon" anyone?), and my favourite things in the film (in no particular order) were these...

1) The tattoo head explosion attack. Why he didnt do that to start off with I dont know.
2) The shaving foam covered reborn demon child.... that had me saying "mamma" over and over.
3) The hopping zombies chop attack when they lose their voodoo tickets.
4) The stupidly pointless spirit chess/virgin army/pokemon style bit - what was the point in that!?!?!
5) The bit where they goto the market town and that chap says 'never mind those cabbages - come and have a look at this silk'

I'd like to see the 2nd half, so if any Hong Kong movie types feel the desire please get a poorly dubbed version out in UK shops soon! Thanks!

Hurrah - post complete!

Gotta agree with the starter of this thread. This one is pretty disappointing.

I guess the moral of the story here is never trust the comments on the box. I mean, of course they're going to hype it up on the box to get you to rent/buy it but these comparisons aren't even close. The box describes it as "Kill Bill meets Evil Dead" and then went on to describe it as a "gorefest." Hardly.
