the whole artemis/apola sun/moon Greek myth thing

I think it's a bit cool that they have characters in this that are based on Greek mythology. I haven't read the books, but I just started to watch the movie. It would have been better if one of the twins, the sun Apola/apollo one would have been male, but the whole sun/moon dynamic of Artermis and Apollo in Greek mythology has my interest. Are others drawn to this because of the Greek mythology references?

I am...but i also loved the book series more, just because it explains things a lot better...just like all books turned into movies...

I love celestial stuff, and that's what made the books even more awesome to me. You should read the book series, the books are way better than the movies.

The books are way better, so much agreed, I work at Laser Quest, and my code name is Artemis because of this book series.

The characters are in no way shape or form based on anything in Greek mythology. The writers just jacked up names from Greek mythology and slipped the standard Disney/Hollywood sugar coated pabulum under them.
