I love period films, but...

this film is a nightmare. Just saw it for the first time. I loved the actors. The young Brits making movies today(Cumberbatch and Redmayne)have come a long way. Might even win an Oscar next year. I wonder how they feel about the history of their country when they make movies like this? I try not to watch anything regarding Henry VIII. It always leaves me feeling terrible. This movie was hard to take on many levels. Well, time to refresh the palate and watch 'It's a Wonderful Life.' :*)
