Masterful Art House Cinema

Not since seeing the amazing Zombie Nation (which raised the standard for zombie films forever) have I seen a zombie movie so perfectly executed. Zombie films have always been a way of commenting on society's flaws and how many of us go through the routines of our daily lives, day in and day out not much differently than the onscreen zombies. Now with Zombiez the zombie mythos has been updated and placed in an urban landscape. The zombies or should I say zombiez reflect many of the problems you would see in any run down ghetto like environment. The zombiesz actions are like those of a drug addicts or drunks. They attack and murder those around them much like the gang bangers of these areas do everyday. They even still run from the cops because it has become instinctual to do so from their previous existence.
