Why call it Underdog?

Underdog talks in rhyme - that's his schtick. He's also a mild mannered shoe-shine boy, a typical 99-pound weakling, who turns into Underdog to save the day.

So while this abomination may be a good movie (I turned it off after 10 minutes. I love Patrick Warburton, but I just could not stand the requisite kid and his dad dynamics) it is not Underdog!

The only reason to call it Underdog would have been to trick lovers of the classic series to go see it... and they of course would have walked out of it after the first ten minutes or not sooner!

Stupid.

You should have stayed tuned. He talkes in rhyme when he's Underdog in the whole movie exept for when Polly tells him not to.

And how manny shoe-shine boy-dogs have you seen in real life? Do you think it would be a bether movie if there where, for no reason, a walking talking shoe-shine boy-dog in a Live Action Movie?

And in the movie he is a weak dog, a mild mannered Beagle called Shoeshine as they call it, who fails at everything before getting his powers.

Anyway, I loved the movie. :)

I wonder why anyone would make a criticism about a movie that haven't finished watching.

Exactly. Watch it all and then criticize it like I do.

Well, I DID watch the whole thing and I didn't like it. I'd rather they had actors in prosthetics. I was wondering why they called the dog "Shoeshine" since he didn't shine shoes. About the only thing I liked was Peter Dinklage as Simon Barsinister.
