It was effin awesome
Although the editing reminded me of tv quality, it definitely shows and/or exagerates life on the slums.

hmm. I don't know, I think they exaggerated the way these people "work". I've actually been to "Gautier Benitez" a bunch of times and I've been to the Christmas parties there and I've never heard a single gunshot. Don't get me wrong, I think "Maestro (Jeico)" was one of the truest performances in the movie, but I know for a fact that if you go to the slums you won't find anybody waving a gun around shooting everywhere, in front of kids. In fact, these things are not even permitted in the underworld, no matter who you are. So that was one of the things I'd say that was pretty exaggerated. I also didn't like the way Katiria Soto overacted, her character sounded pretty fake, everybody else was acting natural. Overall, the movie is good, a couple of "plot holes" but I guess some people had to appear (what happened with Glory's character?) and also they didn't do a good job of introducing the characters. Aside from that, it's a good movie. You should watch if you are over the age of 17. After the movie I swear about 90% of the kids thought they were gangsters, so that's why I say you have to be 17 to watch it. I give it an 8.5/10.
shareI have not seen the film finished, but the scenes with Glory and the title girl playing her daughter were shot. Glory was good -she is a natural actress-, but maybe her scenes were cut, it happens quite often to shorten acts, for rhythm, etc.
