alright, on the back of the box theres a big fat monster with a mouth full of teeth for a hand. i just beat the game and did not come across that at all. is it in a harder difficulty? or did i just magically not fight him? if any of you did, what board did you fight him in?

Yeah, it was a huge dissapointment.
shareit was, i was looking forward to battling that thing. especially when i did get to mother. i did love the game, dont get me wrong, but mother was pretty stupid looking and really easy.

i played the 360 version and came across 6 of these guys, right before you rescue Jen
Hun, no I played the 360 version. Were you on a higher difficulty? I always play on whatever the game starts at.

You face the 'Mutates' no matter what and as WestHam-92 said there are about six if them before Jen and a few more in the battle with the first keeper. I just finished playing the game again and I could see how you would miss them though: they are blisteringly quick!
