It's fun to watch this and add, "You mean your evil child?"

The dialogue is pretty sparse, and delivered very slowly, and there are tons of questions, so there's plenty of opportunity to have some fun with this terrible piece of sh!t and interact with the movie by interjecting comments.

"I don't know; Damien seems so . . . "

Evil?

"Oh, you're son is beautiful."

And evil.

"What's wrong, honey?"

Oh, you mean other than having an evil son? Nothing, really.

You can just have fun with this all day. It really makes the movie much more bearable to watch!
