Anna Paquin was irritating in this film....

....reminded me of Claire Danes in Homeland

Both irritating and in need of a smack in the mouth - with an anvil

I know exactly what you mean. I just wanted her to just shut the *beep* up. She's like that in a lot of movies and shows I've seen yet they keep putting her in movies. She must have family in the movie business.

I've never seen Homeland, but yes -- she was incredibly annoying. She screeched all the damn time, which didn't help me like an already unlikable character.

What I've got in my head you can't buy, steal, or borrow. I believe in live and let live.

Actually, without Anna Paquin's performance this film would likely have no redeeming value. As off-putting as her character is, Paquin made her full-on believable and compelling. It's just unfortunate that the structure of the rest of the film is so rickety- or otherwise non-existent.

EVERYBODY was in this movie. EVerybody was talking over everyone else. It is the most unpleasant audio experience ever. Especially since they missed it to be so harsh sounding.

This movie could have been 100 minutes of nails on a chalkboard and it would have sounded better than this.
