Joe Gransden's Jazz Band

I'm was born and raised in the ATL. I'm white, and I like Jazz. I think it was cool to have Joe Gransden's band as the Jazz outfit in the country club. Joe is such a staple act, and I've seen him play a lot of different venues in ATL over the years.

This is a legit movie. It shows a side of black culture that rarely gets exposed through the media and is obscured by the gangstas that rule the hip-hip world. The pasty white bastards they portray as the ones ratting out 'New New' should incite annoyance and disgust to anyone. I don't know anyone (of any race) who'd want to associate with these types or with the types portrayed by the gangsta-thug dealer we see in the film courting the kid brother.

Having said that, I'd welcome a friendly rapport with the main character in this movie. We'd have a lot of stories to trade, and a lot of things to learn from each other even though our cultures differ.
