MICHELLE PFEIFFER

The trailer for this movie looks nice, but when can we expect Pfeiffer back in real films with respected directors like "Dangerous Liaisons" or "Scarface"?

Still I hope this movie will be a big commercial hit so people can see she's still the best American actress alive.

Waiting for "Stardust"...

Yeah, the pictures and early reviews of "Stardust" make me wanna go see this movie now.

She needs a real artistic comeback. I would love to see her in a new Tarantino or a new Spielberg or something like that and than getting nominated for an oscar.

I say "she's still the best American actress ever"

I love you MICHELLE

Obvious beauty aside (she hasn't aged in 25 years), Michelle has proven that she is one of the greatest actresses of our generation. And just like Cary Grant made his way in light romantic comedies as well as Hitchcock films, so has Ms. Pfeiffer. I would like to see her in more movies like "One Fine Day" though. She was awesome in that, and had great chemistry with George Clooney.

Michelle Pfeiffer is adorable...!

reply

I agree. After Age of Innocence, Michelle just made artistic stinkers.

Amy Heckerling is a pretty well respected director. She made Fast Times and Clueless, after all. When I heard about this film I was excited because it was an Amy Heckerling film.

In the most recent period of her career she has worked with Rob Reiner and Robert Zemeckis, both well respected directors. Those films weren't particularly spectacular.

Also, Brian De Palma and Stephen Frears were both relative newcomers when she made Scarface and Dangerous Liasons with them. They were not yet the directors they are today.

I don't think the respectability of the director is the only consideration when it comes to a good film. What we should be asking is when will there be enough good roles for a (almost) 50 year old woman?

reply

michelle may be nearly 50 but shes looks 25 i mean honestly how good looking can one person get? shes really the greatest actress alive and ever as said in 2 other comments but come on who cares if its good(by the wya i have it on disk its great!) as long as michelles in it im happy!
i love her im her BIGGEST fan ever!

reply

I think Michelle is very pretty but why are all her shots done through some type of filter to make her look softer.

reply

Because she is pushing 50- she is gorgeous, but the filter helps.

It's about time she got to play a cougar. Much better looking than real-life cougars Madonna and Demi Moore.

reply

I'd do her too.
