Why Was the title changed?

since Hallam is the main character and is on screen virtually the entire 95
minutes why was the title changed for U.S. release? Mr. Foe makes it sound like
its about a dirty old man. in other words i don't think the title change makes
any logical sense.

Praps they should've called it 'Bubba Foe' or 'Scooter Foe' so americans could relate. Sheesh. JUst as well it wasn't a chinese name.

Well who knows but I REALLY love the name Hallam.
But I also like the way 'Mister Foe' sounds and looks.

I found that name really...different. Sorry if some of us like different over here though.
Maybe they changed it cuz the other bellboy [idk his character name] called him Mister Foe when he was "requested".

LOL. You are so correct, "Mr. Foe" does sound like it's about a "dirty old man."
